Publication Charges and Copyright Policy
Open Access Article Processing Charge (APC) and Copyright Agreement
Article Processing Charge Waiver policy
All the English-language journals in the Technology Publishing are gold open access journals, and the Journal levies an Article Processing Charges (APC) for all submissions that are accepted for publication.
Journal Title | Standard APC (USD) | Note
Research Articles | Letter | News & Views
Technology | $ 2980 | $ 2160 | $ 860 | Waived APC by the end of 2029 |
What the APC Covers
The APC is a one-time fee that covers the entire publication process from submission to final publication. It supports:
Management and maintenance of the peer-review system
Professional copy-editing and formatting (including PDF and other formats)
Website maintenance and technical support for the journal platform
Operation of the online submission and editorial system
Long-term digital archiving and multi-platform dissemination
We do not charge any submission fees or review fees. No fees apply to rejected articles. Certain article types – such as editorials, corrections, and retractions – are published free of charge.
APC Transparency and Discount Policies
Technology Publishing maintains a transparent APC policy. The exact APC amount varies by journal and is clearly stated on each journal’s website. We recognise financial disparities among authors
worldwide and therefore offer discounts or waivers for authors from low- and lower-middle-income countries.
If you are unsure whether you qualify for a discount, please contact us at info@technicapub.com before submitting your manuscript. Discount requests must be made at the time of submission; requests made during review or after acceptance will not be considered.
