Manuscript Transfer Process

If your manuscript is not accepted, you may receive a recommendation to transfer your manuscript to another suitable journal within the Technology.

How it works:

• Existing reviews are shared: If your manuscript has already been peer-reviewed, all reviews, reviewer identities, and the decision letter will be transferred to the new journal. Please outline any revisions made in your new cover letter.

• Additional review may be required: While sharing prior reviews may shorten the new journal's decision time, the editor may still elect to send the manuscript out for additional peer review.

• New Submission Date: The manuscript will receive a new submission date upon transfer.
